About Meflower

Hey, it’s Claire Wang! I am a 4th year Senior studying Computer Engineering with minors in Business and Mathematics.

I am super interested in designing immersive and fun user experiences, especially for web or game development projects. I hope to take the lessons in inclusivity and accessibility from CSCE 436 to apply to my own process, as I believe technology is meant for everyone to enjoy. During my time at A&M, I’ve learned a lot about building and theory, but less about how technology can be delivered to its audience. Taking CSCE 331 (Foundations of Software Engineering) was my first exposure to incorporating elements of accessibility, such as utiilizing voice dictation or conducting user studies. However, I want to gain more experience and understanding with the user’s side in interacting with software.

After I graduate, I aspire to be a software engineer in a fun industry, such as the entertainment or game development industry. The work I do will always involve how the user interacts with applications, so leaning into the human side of building software will be very valuable and fulfilling.

In my free time, I enjoy...
  • learning fingerstyle songs on the guitar
  • playing videogames
  • collecting blind boxes
  • exploring cafes with my friends
